Psychologically informed life coaching
You've spent a lifetime becoming who you learned to be.
Somewhere along the way, it can become difficult to tell the difference between who you are and who you learned you needed to be.
Mind Laundry is a space to sort through the noise, so you can hear yourself more clearly, make choices that feel like your own, and build a life that fits.
We become ourselves in relationship with the world around us.
From early on, we learn what earns approval, what creates belonging, what success is supposed to look like, which parts of us are welcomed and which are easier to leave behind.
Some of what we learn becomes genuinely ours. Some of it helps us grow. Some of it may even shape parts of ourselves that we love.
But over time, the line can blur between what we consciously chose and what we simply learned to carry.
I call this the borrowed self.
Most of what we carry, we never chose. Sorting it out is how we start to.
Not everything you carry needs to be thrown away.
Mind Laundry is not about stripping away everything you have learned or searching for some untouched version of yourself underneath it all. It is about sorting.
Still yours
What continues to feel deeply true.
No longer fits
What may once have served you but no longer does.
Never yours
What you may have absorbed from expectations around you.
Keep what's yours. Choose what stays.
There is no single route back to yourself. But the work often moves through six interconnected spaces.
This is not a linear process or a six step programme. It is a direction of travel.
I'm Sofya, a certified life coach and psychology researcher. My work is grounded in a question that sits at the heart of Mind Laundry: how much of the life we build is consciously chosen, and how much is inherited, adapted or learned along the way?
My work centres on the relationship between awareness and choice. I pay close attention to recurring patterns, contradictions and the connections between what you say, what you want and how you move through the world.
I do not believe someone else can tell you who you are or what the right decision is for your life. My role is to help you see more clearly, explore what may be difficult to see alone, and strengthen your capacity to make choices you can trust.
My practice
The framework serves the person. Never the other way around.
How it works
You don't need to have everything figured out before we speak. If something here resonated, we can start there.
